Burning petitions to receive the New Year

To close 2007 a group of us gathered at our local church to burn petitions to receive the new year at sun down. While most of us receive the new year at midnight we know that a new day starts at sun down. So coming to fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ at this time was a blessing for all of us.

We pray that our Father in heaven may be with us throughout the new year and that many souls may be saved by His grace.
